The Pride of Britain Awards are a chance to give back to those in the community who have helped others to make the world a better place to live in. Celebrities from all industries turned up to pay tribute to the amazing award winners and the night was full of glitz and glamour thanks to some fabulous red carpet looks.

Pixie Lott looked pretty and feminine in a gorgeous sheer applique dress by deisnger Yuvna Kim. The young starlet added a quirky 60s twist to the finished look with a pretty headband. Instead of going for her usual style of short dresses, showing off her long toned and tanned pins, Pixie opted for this more original style with the sheer skirt of the dress.
The garment would be risky without the cleverly placed embellishment, making it on trend and elegant – yet daring at the same time. Just a few weeks ago, Pixie was spotted on a night out with chocolate brown locks – sparking suspicion she had gone to the dark side. However, it’s now emerged Pixie was wearing a wig, and she has stayed true to her favourite platinum style.
Two former Girls Aloud stars were in attendance – Sarah Harding and Kimberley Walsh, while Cheryl was absent following the recent announcement of her breakup from backing dancer Tre Holloway. Both Sarah and Kimberley oozed glamour and sophistication in their gorgeous gowns.
Kimberley’s white dress featured a cut out chest panel, with a nipped in waist, making it super flattering and stylish. The star accesorised with a simple clutch and a slick of red lipstick. Sarah went for a sequinned gold number with a sheer slit from neck to navel. Sarah kept her makeup simple, and wore her hair up in a sleek chignon, with the front panels worn in an on trend centre parting.
Four members of girlband The Saturdays turned up, while fifth member Frankie Sandford is on maternity leave as she prepares to have her baby with Wayne Bridge.
The girls looked gorgeous as always – our favourite look was on Rochelle, who sported a gorgeous chunky fishtail braid along with on trend plum lipstick. We adore fishtail braids – they can look smart and chic or messy and relaxed. Watch our easy step by step guide to creating the style here.
A variety of soap stars were out in force looking fabulous. Eastenders star Jacqueline Jossa looked elegant in a mint green dress with subtly highlighted brunette locks.Giving her look a grecian element, she wore her hair loosely curled with two french braids pulling her hair back from her face.
Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent looked striking in a deep scarlet dress which she finished off with a slick of red lipgloss and loose flowing waves, worn to one shoulder. The star looked effortlessly chic thanks to her minimal makeup and glossy mane. To achieve this look, don’t forget to finish your hair off with an anti frizz serum to ensure there a smooth and polished look.
