Our Ultra-Volume Clip-Ins and Supreme Quad Weft have almost identical selling points. Both are designed for BIG volume, BIG length, and ultimately that BIG wow-factor transformation, so what’s the difference between them, and which one is best for you? In today's blog, we will explain each set and who they are most suitable for.

    1. What Are The Best Clip In Hair Extensions For Thick Hair?

Anyone blessed with thick hair will know it can be a struggle to find Clip In Hair Extensions thick enough to blend naturally with their own hair, especially if it's above shoulder length. Here at Cliphair we created the Ultra-Volume Full Head set and Supreme Quad Weft with this challenge in mind and produced Clip-Ins dense enough to blend with even the bluntest of thick hair types. Out of all the Clip In Hair Extensions in our collection, these two options are best for thick hair.

    2. What Are Ultra Volume Hair Extensions?

Our Ultra-Volume Clip-Ins are made up of 8 separate pieces that can be applied all over the head to add both length and volume to thick hair. They range from 240g to 300g in weight, which is dependent on the length chosen; the longer lengths are heavier than shorter ones. A standard full head of extensions on average hair is usually between 150-200g so this weight is great for anyone looking for that extra volume.

Due to the heavier nature of these Clip-Ins, we would advise customers with thin or fine hair to opt for a more lightweight set like the Seamless Full Head or Double Weft. This set of thick hair extensions can be used to take a short, blunt bob haircut to long, cascading lengths without the worry of seeing the natural hair through the extensions.

    3. What Is A Quad Weft Clip In Hair Extension?

Quad Weft Hair Extensions are a type of one-piece clip-in sometimes called a volumizer. They are made by attaching 4 wefts of hair together to make one thick strip, usually between 9-12” wide that fits from ear to ear on the head.

    4. What Is A Supreme Quad Weft?

We created an even thicker, stronger quad weft here at Cliphair, called the Supreme Quad Weft which is 10” wide and specifically designed for those with thick hair. A normal quad weft ranges from 60-90g however our Supreme is a whopping 120g, almost as much as a standard full set of clip ins all combined into one easy-to-use piece.

This product is only suitable for thick hair, the thick band that holds the extensions together is thicker and bulkier than a standard one-piece which would be difficult to hide in thinner hair types. The extra weight would also be too much for fine hair so we would advise going for a more lightweight product if you have thinner hair to avoid damage to your hair.

This product is fantastic for adding extra volume and length to long hair styles, it works especially well with top trending styles like Hollywood and Mermaid Waves. And, applied in under two minutes, it's not hard to see why this is one of our biggest sellers!
