Pomade has been used on women’s hair for decades by hairdressers, however its only in recent years that it has become more widely known and used at home thanks to the rising trend of snatched, slicked back hair. More and more brides are opting for sleek low bun looks paired with a parting on their wedding days and these simply cannot be perfected without the use of a little styling pomade. The waxlike texture combined with a small headed backcombing brush thoroughly smooths flyaway hairs and stops them from getting out of place again, it also adds a delicate shine to the hair without looking false like a gel might.
