Always looking for inspiration? I get it, I’m one of those people too. I simply love seeing new content on my Instagram/TikTok feed, and celebrity hair stylists and hair influencers are one of my favourite people to follow. Well, obviously this helps me keep up with the latest trends and it inspires me to write for you all, of course, but if you’d like to see things yourself then why not give a follow to these exceptional hair stylists out there?

So far this year we’ve seen quite a lot of new haircuts, hair colour techniques and amazing celebrity makeovers. If you’d like to see more of this to find inspiration for your next hair transformation, or simply because you enjoy beauty-related content, have a look at my top 10 hair stylists found on Social Media!

    1. Pete Burkill, aka @peteburkill

Pete is a top tier stylist, and it’s easy to see why. Remember Millie Bobby-Brown’s braided tendrils? Or her iconic textured Y2K ponytail? Yep, we owe the pleasure to Pete himself, whom – throughout his career – blessed our feeds with these and many more looks that you can get inspired from. On top of that, Pete is a Creative Ambassador for Josh Wood and Sweet Squared hair. I have talked more in detail about one of Pete’s celebrity clients in our dedicated blog: Celebrity Lookbook: Millie Bobby Brown.

Millie’s peppy low ponytail can be a great way to spice up your mane in between washing days! All you need to recreate this look is a wrap-around ponytail hair extensions set, your favourite butterfly clips, and some styling gel.

    2. Nirvana Jalalvand, aka @nirvanajmakeup

Nirvana is the hair stylist behind Wednesday Addams hair, the iconic braided ‘do that made history – with added bangs, this time. Netflix’s Wednesday has brought lots of interest and appreciation for everything goth, breaking the stigma against this incredible lifestyle and fashion movement. Jenna Ortega’s exquisite performance and Tim Burton’s supreme cinematographic knowledge are surely to thank, but let’s not forget about those that curate the visuals for us – people like Nirvana Jalalvand, and her incredible talent. Whether you’re into dark bangs and long braids or cutesy, multi-coloured tousled bobs like Enid’s, Nirvana will be able to inspire you with her incredible work. If you’d like to get Wednesday’s look, find out how to use your human hair extensions and clip in bangs to achieve her hairstyle on our dedicated blog: Wednesday Addams Hair: Jenna Ortega & The Double Plait Slay.

    3. Chris Appleton, aka @chrisappleton1

When talking about big names and celebrity hair stylists, it’s impossible not to think of Chris Appleton, global creative director of ColorWow and responsible for the iconic hair looks sported by Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez and more. Chris’ Instagram is an endless pool of ideas for your next makeover, especially if you like curated, glamorous hairstyles. Chris himself stated that his favourite hair looks to recreate are big hair dos, and how can you blame him? Although this may sound kind of ironic to those who know he’s been the number 1 inspiration for the glass hair look (you can read more about it on our dedicated blog: Friday On Trend: What Is Glass Hair And How To Get It), you know I’m a sucker for a big bouncy blowout. The bigger the hair, the better. If you, like me, are a fan of gorgeous thick manes, explore our Ultra Volume Hair Extensions collection to recreate the looks that Chris Appleton loves so much.

    4. Brad Mondo, aka @bradmondonyc

If you like hair and hairstyles, chances are you already know who Brad Mondo is. Hair styling is a family thing in the Gesimondo clan, as he has followed his father’s footsteps as a hairstylist. Those who know him, may be familiar with the type of content that made him popular on social media, aka his “Hairstylist reacts to” videos – where Brad comments on hair fails, hair hacks and anything about styling and colouring. Soon enough, Brad’s popularity skyrocketed – also due to his entertaining and charming personality, I’d say! – and he opened up his own company,XMondo, where he takes care of new age hair styling and colouring keeping things vegan and cruelty-free. Besides having worked with celebrities and influencers such as Charli D’Amelio, Vanessa Hudgens and Shay Mitchell, Brad is still an active youtuber and makes educating and exhilarating content for his followers.

    5. Kristin Ess, aka @kristin_ess

Kristin’s liminal Instagram isn’t just an aesthetic feed, but a source of inspiration for all of those individuals who have a thing for peppy hairstyles, soft and minimalistic looks and anything about wavy hair and gentle curls. Kristin has her own line of signature vegan and cruelty-free hair products, a luxury cuddle for your mane. Among her celebrity customers, surely you will notice Lucy Hale – the former Pretty Little Liars star whose hair always looks incredible. From delicately embellished ponytails to summerish beach waves and exquisitely-crafted highlights, you can find your next hair look among the options that Kristin posts on her social media. If you’d like to add a touch of light to your hair when recreating one of her bouncy, wavy spring looks, grab a set of balayage hair extensions and spare your tresses the stress of a bleach job!

    6. Jen Atkin, aka @jenatkinhair

This hair superstar never takes a break, constantly working on something new – or opening a new business. As founder of Mane Addicts and OUAI, Jen promotes glamorous and glossy hairstyles to achieve with the aid of her products, such as OUAI leave-in conditioner, my personal favourite. And people love her products so much, she went on and designed candles with the OUAI’s signature scent! Her latest creation is a triple-barrel jumbo hair waver, launched within her brand new female founded and female funded company: Mane.

Her roster of celebrity clients (and friends) is quite impressive: from bestie Hailey Bieber to the whole Kardashian-Jenner family, ending with Gigi Hadid herself. What’s not to love?

Jen’s hard work constantly produces hair inspiration and amazing products to try. Go give her a follow to keep up with the latest trends, products and hair accessories for you to style your hair and hair extensions like celebrities do!

    7. Anh Co Tran, aka @anhcotran

This celebrity hair stylist knows his game, in particular he know what people expect from peppy, glamorous beach waves and structured haircuts – and we’re here for it.

His expertise in volume and texture is second to no one, and on his Instagram page you’ll find everything you need to get the perfect mermaid hair – minus the human hair extensions, but you can find them at Cliphair! Anh Co Tran is also global creative director of Milbon USA, where they offer education classes and more. Tran’s portfolio features a series of well known names such as actress Chloe Grace Moretz, singer P!nk, and actress Anne Hathaway. With the aid of clip in hair extensions you can easily swap from long to short hair, adding layers, movement and thickness to your mane to get glamorous bedhead looks, flawless beach waves and more.

    8. Kim Kimble, aka @kimblehaircare

Kim advocates for (and educates on) the care and styling of natural hair, and offers 1-1 mentorship to those that would like to learn more. Her clients? Well, take a seat: Kim takes care of Tyra Banks, Beyonce, Oprah and Zendaya’s hair… Among the rest of her reputable customers. Even Ashanti has endorsed her products!

The Kimble hair studio is an avant-garde, glamorous place to get your hair done, and Kim herself is a very active hair expert that constantly shares her knowledge and inspires the world with her creations. Her expertise gained her a nomination for outstanding hairstyling at the Emmys for the work that she and her team put on the astonishing hair dos featured in the show Euphoria. If you’d like to know more about the looks that appeared on the show, find out on our dedicated blog: Euphoric About… Euphoria Hair Styles!, where you can admire the wonderful hairstyles worn by Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney and Alexa Demie. You have naturally textured hair, explore our curly hair extensions collection and find your inspiration on Kim Kimble’s Instagram.

    9. Andy Lecompte, aka @andylecompte

Andy takes care of the hair of Madonna and her fabulous daughter, Lourdes Leon. From long, flowy tresses to braided creations, Andy’s style is unconventional, irreverent and groundbreaking. His Instagram profile provides inspiration for those looking to break the rules, go against the current and adopt a hair look that focuses on being avant-gardist, editorial-looking and doesn’t refrain from demanding attention. Definitely not for the faint-hearted! His hair styles made it to L’Officiel’s cover more than once, worn by Paris Jackson and Annahstasia, to name some names. On top of his artsy work, Andy doesn’t disdain some classic, glamorous hair do’s – as seen on his celebrity clients Heidi Klum and Peneleope Cruz, for example. His Instagram portfolio seems like an endless party with fierce and funky hairdos, and if you’re the type of person who enjoys trying something new and going extravagant every now and then, you’ll absolutely love what he posts.

    10. Mara Roszak, aka @mararoszak

Mara is another hard-working celeb hair stylist whose expertise has blessed us with incredible looks served on the red carpet, formal events such as the Met Gala, and more. On top of giving us all these hairstyles to drool on, she also is the CEO and founder of Mare Salon, the West Hollywood high-end hair place that never misses a single hairdo.

A lot of Mara clients belong to Hollywood’s stardom, and in particular, Zoe Saldana’s ponytail – pinned on Roszak’s Instagram profile – is too dreamy not to be recreated. Arm yourself with our wrap around ponytail hair extensions and make it yours in just a couple of minutes, in the comfort of your own home!

Mara’s work can be seen on TV as well – she, in fact, worked on Natalie Portman too for the new Dior campaign – and the hair stylist is also known for curating the looks of actors Emma Stone, Margot Robbie and Olivia Wilde. If you love a good celebrity look that is not too “out there” and too complicated, following Mara Roszak and her glamorous adventures with her famous clients will surely keep you inspired.

    11. Conclusion:

From avant-gardist Andy Lecompte and his crazy experiments on Madonna’s hair to Chris Appleton and his obsession for big, fluffy blowouts – these ten hair experts, stylists and social media creators will provide you with lots of inspiration, education and trendy content to keep you going. With the aid of hair extensions and a bit of patience, you’ll be able to recreate some of these looks at home, so you can look and feel like a Hollywood star too!
