The MOBO Awards

The MOBO Awards are a perfect excuse for celebrities to come out to play looking their best… and these ones didn’t disappoint!

    Rita Ora

21 year old Rita looked fierce as usual at the awards, where she was nominated for four different awards – Best Newcomer, Best Female Act, Best Video and Best Album. Rita took to twitter to tell her followers how nervous she was about attending, but she didn’t let her nerves show as she rocked two different dresses in two different styles, along with a striking slick of on trend plum lipstick and smoky eyes. Her first dress was more structured and contrasted with the starlets tanned skin. Rita slipped into her second outfit once inside the awards, which was a strapless Alexander McQueen number. Jay Z’s protégée wore her hair as she usually does, in large curls. Many are unaware that Rita actually wears a wig. The star rarely goes out revealing her own hair, which is short, dark and straight.

    Chelsee Healey

Serial party girl Chelsee looked very festive at the bash, where she wore a very sequinned gold dress along with clashing beaded and embellished heels. Chelsee’s hair was looking as thick and luscious as usual, which she wore in a half up, half down style, with lots of volume. Chelsee is a regular hair extensions user, which she uses to give her length and volume.

    Lauren Pope

TOWIE star and DJ Lauren Pope looked stunning and a little gothic (just in time for Halloween!) with her lace dress. The revealing yet still elegant dress was accessorised by a large cocktail ring and bracelet. Lauren’s hair was bang on trend, coloured ombre which is increasingly popular with celebrities. The ‘dip-dye’ look is easy to achieve at home, and is great if you want to grow a colour out. Lauren’s hair was tousled and again worn in a half up, half down style, with the front of her hair styled in a centre parting. ClipHair are releasing dip dye extensions so that you can be up to date and have luscious thick and long hair at the same time!

All eyes were on Delilah as she wore a fishnet revealing dress which revealed her best assets. Delilah also rocked the dip dye look, with her hair swept over one shoulder and slicked back on one side. Her curls were more perfect and neat compared to Lauren’s slightly ‘bed head’ style.

    Rebecca Ferguson

Rebecca looked stunning in a silver sequinned gown and her look radiated old school glamour. Her hair was super shiny and slick, and she had a bouffant style, which was most likely created by using a ‘bump it’ device, which is a plastic piece that you place under your hair to create volume before hiding it with your own hair.
