The nights are becoming shorter, the days are becoming longer and of course the sun is starting to appear! This calls for a change in our hairstyles – so here are a few ideas to inspire you for the month ahead.

    March How To’s:

    The Soft and Gentle Wave

This look is super easy to achieve, which is great because wavy hair is really in right now. It’s a soft and subtle look – perfect for the transition from harsh winter styles to pretty summery looks.
First, mist your natural hair with water and apply a dab of curl-enhancing cream to your damp hair. Then add your hair extensions, also adding a light mist of water. Now pull strands up into a centred ponytail at the crown of your head – this can look as messy and crazy as you like – it’s not part of the finished look! Twist and wrap the ponytail around the elastic into a loose bun and secure with grips. Next blow-dry it in place for a few minutes to set the style. Once you unravel your hair and take the ponytail down, your tresses will have a soft wave to them, like Ashley Greene’s.

    Sultry Curls

These pretty, girly curls look great for any occasion – day or night.
For this look, you’ll need dry shampoo or a texturising powder, hairspray, a heated curling iron and not forgetting heat protection spray! Apply all of your hair extensions to begin with – we’d reccommend our double weft hair extensions for this look so your curls look really full and fabulous!
After applying your cliphair extensions, divide your hair into about eight sections. Spritz each section generously with heat protection spray – this will help to keep your hair extensions silky soft despite the styling. Wrap each section around the iron, holding it there for five seconds. Unwind, then hairspray each section for hold. Once you’ve curled your entire head, run your fingers through your curls to separate them. Lastly, massage the dry shampoo or texturising powder into your roots and scalp before teasing with a fine toothed comb to amp up the volume.
    Braided Bun

Braids make a timeless statement and they’re very easy to create. Jennifer Lopez’s high-drama chignon is a fresh take on the trend. To recreate this look, first brush your hair back into a high pony on the crown and secure it with an elastic. If you want it to look really sleek, use a water based gel and a fine toothed comb to avoid any lumps ans bumps. Next, plait the ponytail. Gently coil the braid into a bun and fasten it in place with grips. If you need a boost, you can create this style using one of our ponytail hair extensions, or add thickness by clipping half a full head pack of hair extensions down the centre of your head.
    High-Drama Quiff

The first step to scoring this vintage, dramatic look like Paris Hilton is to section off the top midsection of your hair between your temples. Tease that hair using a small comb and adding dry shampoo if needed, then lightly brush it back to smooth any bumps but maintaining volume. Gather and clip it near the crown of your head, so it’s out of the way for a few minutes. Now is the time to apply your cliphair hair extensions – it’s important to do this after you’ve created the quiff, so you can see how high up they will need to be placed to be hidden. Next, brush the sides of your hair – the section between your ears and temples – back into a half-ponytail. Bring the poufed section together with the rest of the half ponytail, then pin everything into place. Spritz your pouf with hairspray to set the style and calm any flyaways.
    Voluminously Straight hairstyle

This bed-head look is simple but so wearable and flattering. First of all, apply one of our double weft hair extensions sets to give your hair some added va va voom and to ramp up the seduction stakes. Next apply serum to your locks to tame flyaways and smooth your hair, giving it a shine. Then, lightly straighten your hair in inch-wide sections all over the head, flipping out ends instead of flattening them. For the finishing touch, pat a texturising powder on your fingers and twist the ends of your strands. You will have the sleek, straight look with ends that are a bit more funky and tousled – bang on trend and a quick and easy look to achieve!
