Permanent or Semi-Permanent Hair Extensions are individual or weft extensions that are attached to the hair for several weeks or even months before being repositioned or removed. They come in many different varieties to suit all hair concerns and will each come with their specific guidelines and rules. All Permanent Hair Extensions should be applied and removed by a qualified hair extensionist.

For thin or fine hair, the best Permanent Hair Extensions to use are Tapes or Nanos as they are easily hidden, lightweight and less damaging than other options.

For thick hair, the best Permanent Hair Extensions are Hair wefts (weaves), I-tips and Tapes. Hair wefts are the quickest and easiest way to achieve a big transformation in thick hair.

Depending on which method, quality and type of Permanent Hair Extensions you use will depend on the lifespan and maintenance routine you will need. Typically, most permanent hair extensions are maintained and pushed back up 6-8 weeks after the first application and then removed and reapplied 6-8 weeks after that. ALL permanent hair extensions should be removed and reapplied after 12-16 weeks of wear to avoid any damage caused to your own hair.
